Tyler Rogoway’s always posting cool cockpit videos of military aircraft low flying, so here’s some civilian footage for a change. Approach to Queenstown airport in NZ’s Southern Alps. Recently voted Most Stunning Airport Approach in the world by customers of jet charter company PrivateFly.
Nothing like dropping into clouds filled with rocks to get the adrenalin going...

That was both incredibly beautiful and scary at the same time.
There is nothing like looking down onto a cloud roof and then on to the horizon with mountain tops peaking out from below dotted about the scenery.
These are not taken by me but are of the locality where I live.

As a child I took these views for granted and even as I grew up I never appreciated them fully but as I get older I look at where I live with wide open eyes with images so fresh its like I’m seeing them for the first time.
